History

John Plouse founded Plouse Machine Shop in 1957 in the garage of his Hummelstown, PA home. His goal in those early days was to deliver quality components that meet the specific needs of each client. After two years, the company expanded to a small shop across the street from John’s house.

We are extremely proud that our first two clients in 1957, including AMP, are still clients today – a testament to the enduring commitment to John's goals.

The past 50 years have seen continued growth. Today, our state-of-the-art manufacturing and fabrication facility serves hundreds of North America’s top manufacturers providing custom components and subassemblies.

Early in 2008, the decision was made to update our name to Plouse Precision Manufacturing which more accurately represents the enhanced scope and direction of the company.
