Stamping
Plouse’s state-of-the-art manufacturing
facility contains various stamping machines capable of
fabricating virtually anything our customers require.
Stamping is a metal fabricating process that can compete
with roll forming that presses a metal blank with powerful
dies into a predetermined shape (or pattern). Stamping
utilizes mechanically or hydraulically powered presses that
are fed by continuous strips of metal or individual blanks
which are shaped by a powerful stamping action.
Plouse specializes in both high and low
volume metal stamping production using a variety of
materials that range from .005" to .125" thick. Hard tool
configurations can take the form of inexpensive punching or
forming dies to very large complex fully progressive tools,
and become necessary to drive piece part costs down and to
meet tight tolerance requirements.
